Agnes Updick is 98 Rock’s Chief Global Affairs Correspondent.

She has reported on a wide variety of stories: the riots in Egypt, the Gulf oil spill and the Royal wedding.

Updick has had her share of embarrassing moments. Besides her bitter public divorce from a shipping tycoon, Agnes accidentally ordered a pizza on the air,  called in drunk after Maryland Lawmakers passed the wine shipment bill, and yelled uncontrollably to “Bring-in the reinforcements” during the riots in Egypt.  When asked about the Royal wedding,  she said,  “I don’t give a Royal %&#@!”

Agnes spends every moment of every day hoping Spiegel will get hit by a bus so that she can take control of the 98 Rock News department.  She will proudly tell you that she thinks she could do a better job than him. To say she is bitter is the understatement of the century.

Updick’s shocking antics aside, all she wants is to uphold the highest standards of journalism. When she’s not reporting, Agnes loves to spend her time watching old Alfred Hitchcock movies and cooking. Chocolate brownies are her specialty. ”They don’t talk back to me”, she says with a strange look in her eye. Then she cackles in delight.
