Oil workers at a fracturing well in the Eagle Ford Shale drilling region of southern Texas have reported strange lights over a period of days back in October. Months earlier a security cam captured a peculiar object with lights hovering near another well site. Check out the pics here.

Lion-Dog Terrorizes Virginia Town (Video)

A dog with a special lion hair-cut frightened a few residents of Norfolk when it traipsed through the streets unattended. The dog is named Charles and is half lab, half poodle. His owner, who owns a garden shop in town, likes to have him specially groomed to look like a majestic lion. Read more and see some pics here.

Giant Squid Captured On Camera! (Photos)

And no this wasn’t filmed in the Spiegel bath tub. That monster squid has been documented plenty of times. Scientists in Japan announced Monday that they’ve captured footage of the terrific sea monster a third of a mile deep in the Pacific Ocean.
